Les paroles gelées

16 May - 20 June 2020
Opening Saturday, May 16

VOID, a duo formed by the visual artists Arnaud Eeckhout (BE, 1987) and Mauro Vitturini (IT, 1985) has made sound its vector of representation. Like pictorial matter on a paintbrush, VOID's sound draws lines, delimits territories and detours subjects.
This multidirectional investigation questions the mental cartographies engendered by this phenomenon, which is both ubiquitous and immaterial.

The exhibition Les paroles gelées explores the territory of language and particularly of the human voice. Smoke-black coated paper is streaked with undulating lines, vocal oscillations found in the bowels of the Youtube platform.
